As a follow up to the closing for my Borders location, I wanted to thank you for all your hard work and effort in getting this deal closed. Given the negative news surrounding Borders and the book industry combined with the very low cash-flow nature of the deal, I know this was a challenging property to sell.
Throughout the marketing process, you did an excellent job getting the property in front of a large number of potential buyers and ultimately assisting us in selecting the best buyer amongst the offers you generated. Once a deal is under contract, I have seen many brokers disappear until it is time for closing. That was not the case with you–I commend the job you did by staying intimately involved in every phase of the due diligence, loan assumption and closing process. I do not think we could have gotten the deal closed without your involvement and hard work.
